Before The Clash, The Stooges, The Ramones and The Sex Pistols, there was The New York Dolls. Only two members still live, but luckily one is David Johansen. Or for those of you not tuned into 1970's punk bands, you might know him as Buster Poindexter or The Ghost of Christmas Past in the Bill Murray movie Scrooged. I guarantee neither of these characters will be present the night of the show. Morrisey got them back together and Little Steven has put them on tour as part of his Garage Band Underground tour.
I'm getting little to no response on the Scofield/MMW show so I'm leaning towards this one instead. This show is cheaper, has more music history appeal, and includes the SuperSuckers, arguably the best punk band around today.
