With the life he led it's a wonder he's lasted this long. He's bigger than Elvis if you ask me ... and that's coming from someone who loves Elvis and holds out hope that he's still alive. (Here's what Nancy got me for Christmas). I think my two favorite songs are The Payback and It's a Man's Man's Man's World, but if I had to choose one it would be the latter. Listen to any band, singer, or musician today and they will be described as sounding like _________. No one has ever said he sounds like James Brown because there was no other. Wherever James Brown is tonight, that place has "got to be funky".
