... what the hell is going on in your head?

Last Saturday I picked Robert up around 4:30 and brought him back over to the house so we could make our own pizza and watch a movie. When I picked him up he was wound up tight as a drum. He couldn't sit still to save his life and the whole ride over I encouraged him to get it all out of his system. He tried, but didn't. He seemed pretty excited about making his own pizza and after some deliberation, he decided he wanted 1/4 green pepper, 1/4 sausage, and 1/2 pepperoni. We barely made it through the making of the pizza. The movie of the night was Cars and while the pizzas cooked, we watched some of the bonus features. When the pizzas were done we cranked up the movie and ate pizza on the family room floor. That worked well for about an hour and fifteen minutes, which would have been great if the movie had been exactly that long. Unfortunately Cars is a little lengthy at 2 solid hours. The last 45 minutes of the movie Robert couldn't sit still at all to the point that Nancy had to really get on to him for being too rambunctious. At that point he completely shut down because he got in trouble. I think it shocked him that Nancy got on to him more than anything else. We took him home after the movie and he slept the whole way home.
As for the movie, it's not too bad. It's certainly not one of Pixar's best, but it was still a pretty good movie. Larry the Cable Guy as the tow truck couldn't have been more perfect.
