The Severed Cortex

I'm sure there will be more stuff done today, but we're going to a movie so we'll probably miss it. While we ate breakfast on the deck this morning, my neighbor was sanding (what appeared to be) rust off a shepherd's hook. He then broke out the portable workbench and spray painted it.
