I drink a fair amount of Rolling Rock. It's not because I think Rolling Rock is a great beer because it's not. For me, it does quench my thirst after mowing the lawn in the dead of summer. Thirst quenching though it may be, I drink it because it's usually the best of the cheap beers available at the grocery store. I also drink it because it's an alternative to the Anheuser-Busch products. (Not that I'm against A.B. products ... I like Bud Select and Amber Bock). Or so I thought. While recently enjoying a cold, frosty one with dinner the other night, I noticed that the painted bottle said St. Louis, MO and not the usual Latrobe, PA. I must not pay attention that much to the beer industry because according to Wikipedia, A.B. bought Rolling Rock last year. So now I guess I have to find a cheap A.B. substitute. Miller Lite sucks.
