I haven't hung out with Robert in a couple weeks so we agreed to meet up on Sunday afternoon. I gave him the choice of going to see Evan Almighty, Fantastic 4, or going bowling. He chose bowling and I headed over to Riverboat Lanes (which according to their website says they are open on Sundays). Robert said he liked Bowlhaven better but I was already on the way to Riverboat Lanes. Like I said before ... because the web site said it would be open. It wasn't open. In fact, it wasn't open at all on Sunday.
So, we drove to Bowlhaven. It wasn't open either, but they did open at 4 pm which was only about a 1/2 hour away at this point. We decided to get something to eat to pass the time until Bowlhaven opened. Robert chose Fazoli's which I haven't eaten at in probably ten years. It turned out to be just OK and it killed the half hour we needed.
We bowled three games. Robert almost broke 100 once and I broke 100 just barely in all three games. I stink at bowling. Occasionally I can focus and throw eight or ten good rolls in a row, but that's rare. Sunday I could only muster 2 or 3 good ones in a row. Afterwards, Robert played a few video games and then we headed over to Fritz's to get some ice cream. Next week is Robert's birthday and he indicated he wanted to hang out at Dave and Busters.
