The Severed Cortex

I didn't cut my grass last week because I'm lazy and it rained a little too much. It didn't stop my neighbor from cutting and bagging his yard last Sunday. Since it rained every day this week, sometimes extremely hard, I haven't had a chance to cut mine. It looks shaggy, but I've got other neighbors whose yards look similar. My crazy neighbor cut his yard again yesterday when it was still probably too wet.
