The Severed Cortex

It had been two weeks since I cut my grass, so I mowed it yesterday. It didn't really look that bad, just a little shaggy, but there was some grass that had gone to seed. After cutting it I strolled around the grounds, because it looked nice. I noticed that after cutting it, my grass was only about a 1/2 inch lower than my neighbor's.

Apparently that was enough because he was out there mowing it again today. There aren't that many really nice days like today in July, but that's not a good reason just to mow your grass. Seems like you could find something more fun to do. He neglected to wear a shirt.
