Weird. I never knew that Randy Rhodes played with DuBrow and Quiet Riot first. You'd think that'd be some obscure fact that I would know, seeing as how I totally love Ozzy. Especially since Randy Rhodes played with Rudy Sarzo and Rudy played in QR. (Oh, I'm speaking, of course, about the cool, bat biting, scare your kids Ozzy, not the fat, sloppy, mush-brained, TV version.) Back in those days I liked the Ozz because it scared all my church kid friends. To this day, I can't believe my mom let me buy an Ozzy album, but that's how I became familiar with Sarzo's work. I can't say I was a great big QR fan. In fact, I thought that Rudy playing with them was a huge step down from playing with Ozzy, but then again, if Rudy played bass with them, they must be OK.
