This is from the Decoration Day CD released back in 2003. I normally don't buy singles but I heard this one on KDHK driving home one late evening several months ago and I came home and bought it right away. My reasoning? I thought the guitar riff was really cool and I wanted to learn how to play it. It took me about a minute or so to figure out it was a drop-D tuning and from there I pretty much had the gist of the lead part figured out by the end of the song. After a couple of spins playing along with it I realized that there is a ton more to it than just a sweet guitar riff. It could easily be the theme song for Farm Aid except I'm guessing even Willie and John Cougar don't approve of killing the banker who takes the farm. Well, at least Willie wouldn't kill him. I don't know why I still haven't bought the whole CD because these guys are basically the spawn of the most formative group of my youth, Lynyrd Skynyrd.
