Big Muddy Rising Fast

Already above flood stage on the St. Louis gauge, the forecast is for a steady 5 foot rise and no crest in the immediate future. The Corps of Engineers is talking about shutting the river down from Fulton, IL to Clarksville, MO (Locks 13 - 24) starting Thursday.
Be careful out there John. Hope they shut it down for you.

I off right now. I don't think the river will ever go down this year. This is a very strange year for weather.
