Today, this blog category is literally about my brain.
I was supposed to follow up with my doctor after four weeks, but after a couple of days of no relief from the vertigo we scheduled another appointment. Technically it had only been a week since I've last seen him, and all told I've had the vertigo for 10 days now.
When I told him that the Meclazine had done absolutely zero, the look on his face spoke volumes. Let's just say he has a very bad poker face. At that point he started to become a bit defensive saying something like, well, in the back of your mind you always wonder if you should get the MRI first. Look, I know this stuff is not an exact science so don't sweat it doc. You grabbed for the low hanging fruit and it seems like the low hanging fruit may not be the problem.
So, I'm getting a brain MRI next week. I talked to my sister about it and learned that they do not literally slice your brain into millions of paper thin sections, then glue them back at the end. That was comforting.
