Two individuals broke company policy . Both were fined and put on probation. One of the individuals has since retired. Its getting now when you pick up a barge that its has to be free from grain, trash and any foreign material that may wash off into the River. Guess who has to clean it up if there is a big pile of grain. Even the grain elevators up and down the river will be liable. Now if EPA could only track down every bottle, can, milk jug and 100,000 other items that wash down thru our nations drain, streams , gulleys that wash into our rivers. Now that would be something.

You know the River Industry is just a big easy target then again the river industry gives itself a black eye every once in awhile. The River Industry has really cleaned its act up in the last 10 years. You know the says " I crap stain in your pants will wipe out 1000 at a boys!

Have you ever seen a woman wear heels with fat white athletic socks? Granted, they're just not comfortable, but I suspect that your socks added to your misery. You do look elegant all stiletto'd up, though!
